Robotic removal of lead plates with visual monitoring

Enersys is a battery manufacturer based in Arras.

Ceratec has set up 6 robots at the end of the lead plate production line to pick up the plates and place them in stacks. Visual line tracking is used to determine the exact position of the image, which the robot can then record and stack. For example, 240 images are stacked per minute.

A 7th robot then takes the stacks and places them on dryers, which in turn are slid into a mechanical stacker/stacker.
