A brand-new brickworks

ArgiZas: Bordj-Bou-Arreridj (DZ)

Ceratec has successfully delivered a brand new brickworks for ArgiZas in Bordj-Bou-Arreridj, a region well known for its clay quarries and numerous brickworks. This fully automated plant has a nominal capacity of 150,000 tonnes of hollow bricks per year.

The complete installation was delivered by Ceratec as a turnkey project, and includes:

• layout
• engineering
• clay preparation
• construction of the building itself
• third-party machine integration
• belt conveyors and the supply system for the rotting silo
• all control systems
• assembly
• electrical control system
• Ceraview supervision software

The complexity of the project lay in its geographical location. The plant is located on a narrow plot of sloping land. Ceratec suggested modifying the classic layout to turn this disadvantage into a plus. This creative and cost-effective solution was one of the main reasons why the customer chose Ceratec over another supplier. Equally important was the climate of respect and trust.
