“My role at Ceratec is to make the schedules, I take care of training people, I also prepare projects with the programmers, I develop new standards and I check the electrical plans,” explains Matthieu.
“There are lots of open doors and opportunities. We’re supported in developing the skills needed for a task, a job or a career move.”

“I started out as a draughtsman.
After a few years, I started programming machines abroad.
My first project was US Tile Ione.
For 13 years, I always went abroad for commissioning at customer sites.
Since 2020, I’ve been Automation Manager.
A completely different job, it’s as if I’ve changed companies, with new challenges and responsibilities that come with it.”
What he likes about his work
“When the machine starts turning, it’s a real achievement. We’ve been working for several months and the machine works, that’s the culmination. We’re a big company, but it’s still a family business. Everyone knows everyone, so we have very good collaboration within the team, but also with the other teams.”
