On October 1, 2026, Ceratec took part in Logistics TechDay 2026 at Fabriek Logistiek in Ghent, Belgium. The event brought together industry professionals to explore the latest developments in logistics automation, intralogistics, and mobile robotics.
We are proud to have contributed to the expert program as a technology partner. During our dedicated session, “Introducing AGV’s in the heavy ceramic industry,” our team presented a real-world case study focusing on the deployment of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) within heavy industrial manufacturing.
Implementing mobile robotics in the heavy ceramic sector comes with specific operational challenges, including heavy payloads, dusty environments, and strict safety requirements. Our presentation highlighted how custom engineering and reliable software integration make internal transport safer, more flexible, and more efficient across the production floor.
Throughout the day, attendees also experienced live robotics demonstrations, safety system showcases, and valuable networking opportunities with peers from the logistics and manufacturing sectors.
