Semi-autonomous navigation on inland and coastal waters

Ceratec has been asked to build the electrical panels on board semi-autonomous ships. In this way, we are playing a small but crucial role in the future development of unmanned navigation with automated ships.

SEAFAR captains manage ships remotely from their shore-based control center. They manage up to three ships at a time, 80% of which are autonomous, with only a few crew members remaining on board for maintenance, berthing, loading and unloading. In an emergency, a helmsman on the bridge can temporarily take control of the vessel.
