VGA

Automated guided vehicles (AGVs) are forklifts or unmanned trucks that move your transport load and materials around your logistics or production center, even in narrow aisles.

Navigation

The new generation of electric vehicles uses SLAM (Simultaneous Localization And Mapping) technology to calculate its own route, detect obstacles and avoid them autonomously. This allows us to adapt the configuration quickly and easily, without any infrastructure changes.

To move around, VGAs use laser guidance.

Battery and charging

The heart of the VGA is a robust, fast-charging 48 V lithium-ion battery. When the battery is low, the VGA automatically goes to a charging station.

Fleet control

Fleet control takes over the complex control of logistics processes:

  • The software coordinates the different vehicles and controls traffic lights, doors, etc.
  • VGA status information can be called up and displayed.

The fleet controller is based on proven technology and complies with the VDA 5050 standard.

MFCS integration

The VGA fleet can be controlled by our own MFCS software in a fully automated warehouse management center, or we can integrate them into the customer’s existing software.

Vehicle types

Types of vehicles we offer :

  • Counterweight: VGA with counterweight principle, enabling high-precision transfer even in hard-to-reach places.
  • Tricycle forklift: A “classic” pallet truck for fully automated transport of pallets and crates. Very easy to integrate into brownfield applications.
  • Omnidrive forklift: Even more compact, allowing crab-style transverse travel.
  • Automated, bi-directional or omni-directional forklift: An underride-proof AGV that can run on slopes. Often used in combination with lift table modules, gripper systems or roller conveyors.
