Ceratec at the 72nd Clemson Brick Plant Operator’s Forum 2026
Explore technical advancements in brick manufacturing at the 72nd National Brick Research Center forum, a key event for the heavy clay industry.
The 72nd Clemson Brick Plant Operator’s Forum is scheduled for September 28 and 29, 2026. The Brick Education and Research Foundation presents this event to benefit the National Brick Research Center. Generous support from sponsoring suppliers makes this forum possible.
The forum features two days of technical presentations. The covered topics include best practices, fundamentals of brick making, innovations, plant upgrades, wall systems, and environmental health and safety. Fellow brick makers deliver the majority of these presentations.
The National Brick Research Center operates as an Industry Sponsored Research Center within Clemson University’s College of Engineering, Computing and Applied Sciences. Clemson University holds a long-standing reputation for its expertise in traditional ceramic products, with a special emphasis on clay brick. This legacy dates back to the late 1940s when the Department of Ceramic Engineering was founded.
Proceeds from the forum directly fund the operation and enhancement of the Bishop Materials Laboratory. This financial support ultimately benefits the entire brick industry. Additionally, evening hospitality offerings provide a setting for manufacturers and suppliers to connect and discuss shared industry challenges.
