AGV
Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are unmanned forklifts or carts that move your transport load and materials around within your logistics or production environment, even through narrow aisles.
Navigation
The new generation of these electrical vehicles use SLAM-technology (Simultaneous Localisation And Mapping) to calculate its own route, detect obstacles and surround them autonomously. This allows us to adapt the configuration fast and easy, without infrastructural changes.
To navigate, they use laser guidance.
Battery and charging
The heart of the AGV is a robust, fast-charging 48V lithium-ion battery. When the battery is low, the AGV drives to a charging station fully automatically.
Fleet control
The fleet control takes over the complex control of the logistics processes:
- The software coordinates the various vehicles and controls traffic lights, doors, etc.
- Status information can be called up and visualized.
The fleet controller is based on proven technology and VDA 5050 compliant.
MFCS integration
The AGV fleet can be controlled by our own MFCS software Cerastore in a fully automated stock management environment, or we can integrate them in the clients existing software.
Vehicle types
Vehicle types we offer:
- Counter balance
AGV with counterweight principle, enabling high precision transfer even in locations that are difficult to access. - Tricycle forkover
A ‘classic’ pallet mover that enables fully automated transport of pallets and boxes. Very easy to integrate in brownfield applications. - Omnidrive forkover
Even more compact, allowing transversal travel (crab-style). - Automated cart, bi- or omnidirectional
A ramp-capable underride AGV. Often used in combination with lifting table modules, gripper systems or roller conveyors.
