Ceratec automated the transport of the cable drums to the automatic winders at the company’s site in Mouscron (BE).

The warehouse contains 2 identical lines. The large drums are placed on the roller conveyors using a forklift truck and are then taken to the automatic winder by the shuttle. The winder unwinds the drums to form smaller cable rolls. The large drums are then placed back on the shuttle and transported to the removal roller conveyors, from where they are removed by a forklift.
