The robotic island allows the storage and automatic regulation of the flow of anesthetic ampoules. It is located between an upstream machine operating at a rate of 11,600 ampoules per hour and a downstream machine operating at a rate of 15,000 ampoules per hour.

The downstream machine cannot be stopped and restarted unexpectedly, so we build up a buffer of ampoules to be able to feed the downstream machine in a continuous flow and at the demanded rate.
