Castelein builds distribution centre in Puurs. The new distribution centre includes a warehouse of 12 000 m². Castelein currently offers total logistics solutions from its distribution centres in Veurne and Mechelen.

The high-bay warehouse is unique in its kind and is a completely independent building with a heigh of 30 metres. The warehouse consists of 8 aisles in which 3 exchange cranes take care of the ins and outbound. On either side of the complex there are 2 conventional warehouses. At the front are the loading docks with an order picking area and repackaging area above them. At the last level, the sheltered workshops will work indoors.

Ceratec carried out the electrical engineering in its own design, in close consultation with the client.
