US Tile: Corona (USA)

Both production lines, including the dryer, had to be replaced. The directives for the project were to:

• preserve the installation of the two augers, cutters and the tile press
• install the new handling equipment
• install a new dryer
• feed the dry bricks into the existing four-level, roller-hearth kiln.

All these conditions were respected by loading the tiles stretched and pressed on trays and by routing them to a tunnel dryer. Both production lines work alternately and use the same dryer cars loading system.
