Lafarge confirms once more its trust in Ceratec, by assigning this major modification project of their existing production unit. 

The project integrates the supply, setting-up and commissioning of tray circuit handling, Us cassettes handling and handling of green and dry tiles. 

The RAT conveyor collects the tiles from 2 presses with 3 moulds with a particular positioning precision, as per the numerous different tiles to put on the same tray. The high point rate of 88 tiles/min and the uneven number of tiles per tray requests an angle gear of empty trays and loaded by gripper moving by 4 freedom degrees. 

The inconvenience of the reduced place to load the Us cassettes was successfully resolved with the integration of a loading robot also making the rotation operations and assembling half a pack of tiles, before introducing them with a high precision in the U. Furthermore, the system allows to treat all the range of tiles with a minimal of mechanical adaptations when changing a product. 

The transfer car and automatic unloading car to carry the frames from and to the chamber dryer was also renewed.
