With this project, we replaced the manual storage racks with an automated storage solution. Thanks to this, the customer can now store almost twice as many pallets on the same surface, with an optimised logistic organisation.

Ceratec was in charge of the project management for our customer and provided the following installations:

• Pallet inbound and outbound conveyors interfacing between the warehouse and the forklift operators.
• Pallet conveyor circuit on 6 different levels.
• 3 pallet lifts to allow pallets to enter/exit the warehouse and to allow the 2D shuttles (from our partner Stow) to change levels according to the flux.
• Pallet dimension control and barcode reading.
• Refusal line for so-called non-compliant pallets.
