{"id":12762,"date":"2025-04-02T12:49:32","date_gmt":"2025-04-02T10:49:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/ceratec.eu\/reference\/custom-robotic-palletizing-for-fragile-products-at-desobry\/"},"modified":"2025-11-06T15:28:39","modified_gmt":"2025-11-06T13:28:39","slug":"custom-robotic-palletizing-for-fragile-products-at-desobry","status":"publish","type":"reference","link":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/reference\/custom-robotic-palletizing-for-fragile-products-at-desobry\/","title":{"rendered":"Custom robotic palletizing for fragile products at DeSobry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"678\"><strong data-start=\"313\" data-end=\"508\">Ceratec tackled a complex challenge at DeSobry: palletizing delicate biscuits from two separate lines in a tight space, while preserving product integrity.<br data-start=\"508\" data-end=\"511\" \/><\/strong>Each line had different product codes, carton types, and pallet formats (Euro, Indus, or US 48\u201d), requiring a fully tailored approach.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"680\" data-end=\"842\">\ud83d\udd39 The variable arrival rate and just-in-time requirement demanded a system capable of processing two distinct product flows without interrupting production.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"844\" data-end=\"1024\">\ud83d\udd39 To address this, we <strong data-start=\"880\" data-end=\"922\">designed a robotic cell<\/strong> equipped with a <strong data-start=\"936\" data-end=\"943\">dual-fork gripper<\/strong>, capable of handling cartons, interlayers, and pallets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1220\">\ud83d\udd39 A <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1080\">Cellumation orientation machine<\/strong>, our partner in this project, <strong data-start=\"1105\" data-end=\"1116\">orients <\/strong>the cartons into uniform layers regardless of size or format differences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1222\" data-end=\"1439\">\ud83d\udd39 The <strong data-start=\"1229\" data-end=\"1261\">infeed conveyors developed by Ceratec<\/strong>, along with a custom <strong data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1296\">picking table<\/strong>, ensure perfect synchronization of the carton flow and robotic preparation \u2014 all without the need for large buffers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1441\" data-end=\"1605\">\ud83d\udd39 From the <strong data-start=\"1463\" data-end=\"1490\">interlayer magazine<\/strong> to the <strong data-start=\"1494\" data-end=\"1516\">final labelling station<\/strong>, every component was engineered for <strong data-start=\"1544\" data-end=\"1556\">safety<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1558\" data-end=\"1572\">efficiency<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1576\" data-end=\"1604\">production continuity<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1805\">\ud83d\udd39 The entire Ceratec system is designed to remain <strong data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1714\">fully operational in case of network failure<\/strong>, thanks to autonomous PLC management that maintains labeling and tracking.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"1965\"><strong data-start=\"1807\" data-end=\"1965\">This project highlights Ceratec\u2019s ability to engineer innovative intralogistics solutions for complex food industry environments.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"template":"","pays":[],"solutions":[732],"secteurs":[623],"clients":[908],"business-unit":[537],"class_list":["post-12762","reference","type-reference","status-publish","hentry","solutions-product-transport","secteurs-food-industry","clients-desobry-en","business-unit-intralogistics-solutions"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/reference\/12762","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/reference"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/reference"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12762"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"pays","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pays?post=12762"},{"taxonomy":"solutions","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/solutions?post=12762"},{"taxonomy":"secteurs","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/secteurs?post=12762"},{"taxonomy":"clients","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/clients?post=12762"},{"taxonomy":"business-unit","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/ceratec.eu\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/business-unit?post=12762"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
