For six months, they joined the intralogistics engineering team and helped to solve a real-world industrial challenge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The result is impressive: an innovative pallet lifting and rotation system that automatically lifts pallets and rotates them by 90\u00b0.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Thanks to this solution, we can:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>easily handle different types of pallets within the same warehouse;<\/li>\n<li>organise the logistics flow more efficiently;<\/li>\n<li>continue to ensure that safety and quality remain our top priorities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>And this isn\u2019t just a concept:<\/strong> we will soon be building and installing 16 units in one of our clients\u2019 automated warehouses.<br \/>\nUnder the supervision of Bart Verhaeghe, our Head of Development and Standardisation, they have been able to turn their ideas into a concrete and functional solution.<\/p>\n<p>This project perfectly illustrates Ceratec\u2019s priorities:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>collaboration with schools and talent development<\/li>\n<li>innovation driven by practical experience<\/li>\n<li>giving young people the opportunity to flourish<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Meet Siebe and Xander, and find out what their work placement with us was like!\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past few months, Siebe Dhaene and Xander Vandeputte have had the opportunity to complete their bachelor\u2019s thesis as part of the electromechanics programme at Ceratec.
