Fire protection
A smoke detector and fire alarm works 24 hours a day, so it’s quicker to detect a fire than someone who happens to be nearby. Rapid fire detection is important to minimize damage to people and equipment, and prevent more serious damage.

Periodic replacement
Smoke and/or fire detectors are highly susceptible to dirt, and can therefore cause false alarms or react incorrectly. So don’t forget to replace your detectors regularly! For standard installations, this is done every 5 years. On the latest fire detection units, we can see the degree of dirt.
